While Virat Kohli’s wax statue continues to steal headlines, his team is currently enduring a difficult phase in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. Under the leadership of Faf du Plessis, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have lost five of the six matches they have played so far. They are currently on a four-match losing streak with their last defeat coming against the Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians. The two IPL franchises clashed at the Wankhede Stadium on April 11. With two points from six games, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are currently struggling at the bottom of the IPL 2024 standings. In their next IPL 2024 fixture, the Bengaluru-based franchise will be up against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday, April 15.
