Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 192 runs in the second Test in Chittagong.

A bunch of kids were seen playing around in the stands during the recently concluded second Test between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The wholesome moment transpired on Day 2 of the red-ball clash where Sri Lanka secured a 192-run win to complete a whitewash in the two-match series. It was at the beginning of Bangladesh’s first innings when the broadcaster’s camera panned towards an empty stand. Some kids were seen sliding down through the railing of the gallery. As soon as they got to see themselves on the giant screen, the boys started jumping with joy while waving at the camera.

The video was later shared on the official X account of FanCode, which was the broadcaster of the Bangladesh-Sri Lanka series. The caption of the post read, “Sliding into her DM got me and my homies like.” An Indian cricket fan reshared the clip on the microblogging site and it became an instant hit.

Many viewers could relate to the feelings of those kids as one of them commented, “Men Scroll, Men See This, Men Remember their Childhood, Men Get Emotional.”

Another user was quick to acknowledge, “Childhoods are always awesome.”

A viewer feels the children were smart enough to find a play area inside the cricket stadium.

An individual reckons the kids are “living life to the fullest.”

The Sri Lankan cricket team jetted off to Bangladesh to play a multi-format series last month. Both teams missed the service of several first-team players who were involved in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The Asian rivals began the campaign with a three-match T20I series where the victories notched a 2-1 victory.

Bangladesh bounced back well in the ODI leg. Both teams won one of the first two games. The hosts claimed a four-wicket in the series decider. At the trophy presentation ceremony, Bangladesh cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim joked about Angelo Matthews’ controversial timed-out dismissal at the ICC ODI World Cup last year. Rahim picked up a helmet and tried to imitate the reaction of Matthews while the other Bangladesh players kept cheering him.
