Two new trailers for House of the Dragon season 2 have been released, with Game of Thrones fans once more delighted to be brought back to Westeros.
Game of Thrones fans have been waiting long and hard for any news on season 2 of House of the Dragon. The newest show in the world of Westeros came out back in 2022 to universal praise. However, the team went radio silent almost immediately after, leaving fans starving for more content from George R.R. Martin’s world of dark fantasy.
After nearly two years of (not so) patiently waiting, HBO has dropped not one but two trailers for House of the Dragon season 2. They’re complete with everything Game of Thrones fans love and have been waiting all of this time for. The full video can be seen below.
Game Of Thrones Keeps Getting Bigger
Fans of House of the Dragon have been shaking the internet waiting for their favorite fantasy show to come back for season 2 this June. However, Warner Bros. and HBO have been busy behind the scenes making sure Game of Thrones fans won’t have as long a wait to return to Westeros, with a slew of new projects coming down the pipeline.
In April of last year, it was announced that a new Game of Thrones spin-off titled A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight would be coming to HBO. The series is set to follow the novella of the same name, better known by fans as part of the tales of Dunk and Egg. Dunk is Ser Duncan the Tall, hedge knight of Prince Aegon Targaryen, who’s known as “egg” due to his bald head.
Game of Thrones is also set to get a number of animated spin-offs as well. While none have been greenlit officially, creator George R.R. Martin reveals two series are in various stages of being pitched, with a Nine Voyages series being transformed from a live-action show into an animated series.
