Zomato CEO took to X and introduced ‘vegetarian move’ on March 19 after keeping in mind the food concerns related to its preparation and handling by vegetarian users.
Ever since food giant Zomato’s CEO Deepinder Goyal introduced their exclusive veg-only fleet on the mobile app; the Internet has been flooded with witty memes and jokes. From green delivery boxes and scooters to delivery personnel wearing specific uniforms based on the status of their deliveries, social media has been a treasure trove of light-hearted humour. Adding to this endless overflow of memes, a user shared a picture of two individuals donning green helmets and red bags.
In the said post, two individuals were seen wearing green helmets from the automobile company Zypp and carrying a red backpack while riding a motorcycle. The internet speculated the individuals to be delivery agents of the food giant app ‘Zomato’ and compared it with Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dialogue from the film ‘Chak De India’.
The meme was captioned, “He has a green helmet. He’s delivering veggies. He has a red bag. He’s delivering meat. Ya khuda, ye to eggs deliver karega.”
The meme went viral in no time, mustering more than 186,000 views and over 7,000 likes. Shared on March 21, the post grabbed the attention of many, giving them a good belly laugh. Social media users couldn’t help but chime in to the comment section, tweaking some humour and praising the user for sharing such a bang on meme.
An X user posted, “Hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha! “Bhaiya Bhaiya meri taraf dekho bhaiya” (There, I completed the dialogue for you)”

The ‘vegetarian move’ came after keeping in mind the food concerns related to its preparation and handling by vegetarian users. The pure veg mode is basically the option where people will get to see food only from pure vegetarian restaurants.
Meanwhile, CEO Goyal also hinted at future plans to add more specialised fleets catering to special customer needs. “For example, there’s a special cake delivery fleet coming up with hydraulic balancers that prevent your cake from getting smudged during delivery,” he posted on X on March 19.
