A fangirl recently shared a video, asking Blinkit to deliver her favourite cricketer Shubman Gill to her doorstep.
Zomato-owned Blinkit has emerged as one of the most widely used food and grocery delivery platforms in India, thanks to its quick service and availability, especially during festivals and celebrations. While the platform promises almost every necessary daily essential, there are also instances of customers bluffing with the platform, seeking delivery of ‘unexpected’ things at their doorsteps. One such instance recently caught the internet’s attention, where a digital creator asked Blinkit to deliver her favourite cricketer to her home.
A woman named Aayushi recently went to watch the Shubhman Gill-led Gujarat Titans play in the ongoing Indian Premier League. She shared a short video of herself posing in front of the cricket stadium with a large poster in her hand. The poster, which shows Aayushi urging the delivery platform to deliver the GT captain, seemingly her favourite cricket player, to her doorstep, has left the internet amused.
“Blinkit, please deliver Shubman Gill to my address,” the poster read.
While social media users wasted no time to hop in a playful banter over Aayushi’s unique demand, Blinkit also joined the conversation and dropped an epic response. “Ek captain toh waisei MI chale gaye..dusra aap maang rahe ho,” the official handle of Blinkit commented.
A user wrote, “Missed calls from Ishan Kishan,” while another one wrote, “Out for delivery, Sara Tendulkar will reach in 15min.” Many other rival delivery services also jumped and made hilarious offers.
“Gill bhai ka toh pata nahi but we can deliver you some delicious chocolates,” the social media handle of Azesa Chocolates wrote.
The video has so far gained over 1,00,000 likes and many comments.
It is pertinent to note that Shubman Gill is one of the most promising young cricketers in the Indian team. He also enjoys a strong fan base, especially among his female followers.

Recently, another fangirl shared a video of the cricketer and promised to study if Gill commented on it. While the video went instantly viral, it also caught the attention of her favourite star. To the user’s surprise, Shubman Gill reacted to the video and asked the girl to start studying. “Shuru kar do padhna,” he wrote.
His response got fans crazy, as many flooded the comment section and congratulated the fan over receiving the cricketer’s reply.
