The cruelty against animals is on the rise in the country. Another heart wrenching incident has come to light from Delhi, where a dog was barbarically thrashed while tied to a wire. The disturbing video has gone viral on social media. The clip was shared on platform X (Formerly Twitter) and captures the moment when a man cruelly binds a wire tightly around the dog’s neck and drags it around before callously throwing it away.

Despite the presence of numerous people, the man persisted in his torturous act against the innocent dog, as seen in the video. The footage of the incident has gained widespread attention on social media. As per reports, no action has been taken against the man by the Delhi Police.

Many social media users have expressed their outrage towards the Delhi Police for their apparent lack of action in response to the incident. “What is stopping Delhi Police from taking action against such psycho killers, are they waiting for some more cruelty to take place? This predator must be arrested ASAP. High time Police should start taking actions,” a user wrote.
Expressing anger, another said, “Problem is Delhi Police won’t take any action without FIR and no one will file a complaint.” The reason behind the man’s inhumane behaviour remains ascertained.
People also criticised the bystanders for their insensitivity in stopping the man from harming the dog, stating that they should have intervened to help the animal. Many individuals also emphasised the critical need for the implementation of strict laws to combat animal cruelty.
“India really needs strict laws against Animal Cruelty,” a user wrote.
Just a few days ago, a similar incident was reported from Thane, Maharashtra. Two clinic staff were caught on camera beating and kicking a pet dog within the clinic premises. Many activists, celebrities and politicians denounced the actions of the two individuals and called out the authorities to take firm action against them.
