However, while it’s been confirmed the logo will be taking inspiration from the classic comics, Superman fans are still unsure if Corenswet will wear the red trunks.
Recent incarnations of the DC Universe seem to be moving Superman away from his design with the red trunks, leaving many to believe David Corenswet will be without the iconic boxer briefs. When Will Fans See The Full Superman Suit
While fan art is great, nothing can substitute the real thing. However, it seems that James Gunn is more than happy to let fans fester in their excitement. The director has been clear that he doesn’t want to rush out the reveal of what David Corenswet’s costume will look like. However, he did tease it may be closer than some fans expect.
However, David Corenswet isn’t the only actor whose suit could be seen in the upcoming Superman film. Last month, Superman set photos showed off María Gabriela de Faría’s costume for The Engineer, suggesting other actors are also donning suits. If only James Gunn would release a full-cast photo!
