Production on Daredevil: Born Again may be far from over! A new update reveals there’s still more episodes of the series to film.
It’s recently been reported that Daredevil: Born Again has finished filming. However, a new report reveals that isn’t entirely accurate. According to an update by the project’s stunt coordinator, only the first batch of episodes for the series has been completed, with 9 more episodes from the original 18-episode order still left to be filmed.
This lines up with other reports that Daredevil: Born Again will be split into two seasons, with the first season likely comprised of the first 9 episode order and the other half being pushed into a season 2. It’s likely much of the influence from the show’s creative reboot won’t be felt until that second half given how much of the first half was already filmed.
Daredevil: Born Again Makes Drastic Changes
While details about Daredevil: Born Again have been kept close to the chest, it’s clear the creative reboot has already had a large influence on the project. Set videos have already confirmed the return of key characters like Foggy Nelson and Karen Page, who were originally absent from the Marvel series.
However, the series has also made some cuts. Recent changes to actors’ social media pages suggest that both Nikki M. James and Sandrine Holt have been let go from Daredevil: Born Again, with the latter being replaced by Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk. Whether these changes will be worth it in the long run is yet to be seen.
